Purpose


The Project Management position is always evolving and the PMP new test is an example of domains necessary to know to have success in the exam and this career. This preparatory course provides participants with theoretical and practical knowledge as well as competence in the use of tools that are essential to plan, organize, supervise, lead and motivate resources with the effectiveness required to achieve all the objectives in terms of quality and time, cost, performance, and ultimately overall efficiency.

This Course is based on the latest changes in the PMI Exam, including Agile contents, and based on three primary domains areas:

  • Process (50%)

  • Business Environment (8%)

Topics


People

This domain evaluates a candidate’s leadership of their project team. A sample of tasks evaluated include:

  • Building/leading a team

  • Managing conflict

  • Ensuring your team is adequately trained

Process

The process domain evaluates the technical aspects of project management. A few process tasks on the PMP exam include:

  • Planning and managing budget and resources

  • Integrating project planning activities

  • Managing project changes

Business Environment

This domain tests a project manager’s ability to adhere to organizational requirements. A sample of tasks covered under the business environment domain include:

  • Planning and managing project compliance

  • Evaluating benefits and value of the project

  • Supporting organizational changes
